About Us
Max and Hedi Gossweiler emigrated from Switzerland in 1981.
Now in Canada, the Gossweilers own and operate the Lone Eagle Motel and Campground since 1983.
In 1997 they bought their first alpacas and the business was named Swiss Line Alpacas.
At on time the herd grew to over 100 alpacas. Every year they harvest the fibre
Hedi as transforms it into beautiful products, be it high fashion designs or everyday products. Hedi is a fashion designer by trade.
The name Alpaca Expressions of Canada was created which presents the fashion part from the alpaca business.
After operating the alpaca farm for over 20 years, the alpaca herd was sold in 2018.
Hedi is still creating and producing alpaca products and sells it through the gift shop, online and on high end trade shows.
